SUSAN BELFORD, 71, of Sun City Center, died Jan. 10. She had worked as an executive assistant for a credit card company. Survivors include her husband of 27 years Harry; son and daughter-in-law Matthew and Tricia Lyndon; daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Mike Brakefield; step-daughter and son-in-law Kelly and Chuck Featherston; brother and sister-in-law Andrew and Louise Siegel; and six grandchildren. H. LUCILLE LERER, 99, of Tampa, died Jan. 12. Born in Birmingham, AL, she was a lifelong resident of Tampa. Survivors include her granddaughter and husband, Donna and Chon Meyers, and great-grandson Joshua Meyers. (Segal Funeral Home, Beth David Chapel)

STEPHEN MICHAEL SZEKELY, 70, of Tampa, died Jan. 14. Born in Brooklyn, he was a graduate of George Washington University with a political science degree. He moved to Tampa in 1983 from Washington, DC, where he had been a reporter on Capitol Hill. Locally he was a research analyst and after retirement pursued community association management. He loved baseball and played in a men’s senior league. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Sandy; son and daughter-in-law Peter and Nicole Szekely; sister Carole Denner. The family suggests memorials to the Humane Society. (Segal Funeral Home, Beth David Chapel)
