
Registration open for 13th annual co-ed softball tourney
Registration is now under way for the 13th Annual Co-ed Softball Tournament hosted by the Tampa JCCs & Federation on Sunday, March 3 at Ed Radice Park.
Last year more than 200 people from throughout the Tampa Bay area participated in the annual community-wide tournament, enjoying a full day of competition and fun.
Folks can sign up as single players or as a team. Register as a team through your synagogue, Sisterhood, Brotherhood, book club, family or a group of friends. A minimum of 10 people/maximum of 14 people per team is allowed. There must be three females on each team to qualify. Additional rules and details about the day will be posted on www.jewishtampa.com.
The cost for individuals is $45 and the cost for an entire team is $425. The fee includes a team shirt and snacks for the day. You may register online at www.jewishtampa.com, call the Tampa JCC at (813) 264-9000 or fill out the form on Page 14.
Deadline to register as a team or as an individual is Friday, Feb. 22. Deadline to submit entire team roster is Feb. 27.
The park is located at 14720 Ed Radice Drive in Tampa. Registration at the park will open at 11:45 a.m. with first pitch at 12:30 p.m. and the championship game at 4 p.m.
Team sponsorships are available for interested companies at costs of $100, 250 or $500 with a variety of different benefits (See ad, Page 14).
