On the beach: Enjoy the beach at Pass-a-Grille for Havdalah services on Saturday, Dec. 15 at 5 p.m. We’ll say “goodbye” to Shabbat as the sun sets over the Gulf of Mexico. Rabbi Jason Rosenberg will be there by 4:30 p.m. Look for him just south of Paradise Grill at 10th Avenue.

Sisterhood outing: It will be girl’s night out on Thursday, Dec. 13 at 7 p.m. when members of the Sisterhood gather at Grillsmith at The Shops at Wiregrass, 2000 Piazza Ave., #100, Wesley Chapel. For more information contact Victoria Cain at (813) 968-8511 or

Tot Shabbat: Children up to age 5 and their families are welcome for Shabbat with music, prayer and a story on the third Friday of the month at 6:30 p.m., followed by an oneg.

Talmud study: Join a group delving into Tractate Sanhedrin to learn the ins and outs of the ancient Jewish legal system. The group will meet on Thursdays, Dec. 13 and 20 at 9:30 a.m. Drop-ins for this class are welcome.
