ALAN NEIL GOLDRICH, 68, of Tampa, died Oct. 14. Born in Brooklyn, he grew up in East Meadow, Long Island. He was a graduate of LIU Post (Long Island University) with a bachelor of science in biology. He was a US Navy veteran, serving from 1974 to 1980. Most recently he worked as a senior systems analyst for Citigroup, retiring in 2012. Survivors include his wife Sheri; two daughters, Jennifer and Lesley; sister Susan; and one grandson. The family suggests memorials to the Association for Frontal Temporal Degeneration. (Segal Funeral Home, Beth David Chapel) ANN ESTHER NEWMAN, 90, of Tampa, died Oct. 29. Born in Baltimore, she moved to Tampa in 2006 from Aventura. Previously she and her late husband Albert Newman had lived in Havre de Grace, MD, for more than 30 years and she helped at the family business, City Pharmacy. They were founding members of the Harford Jewish Center (now known as Temple Adas Shalom). She was active in the temple Sisterhood and ran the temple gift shop for many years. While living in Aventura she continued to volunteer, running the Aventura Social Club and was a life member of Hadassah. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law; Sandra and Stephen Szekely, Michele Newman and Michael Behringer, Darla Newman and George Ward, Lisa Newman and Ken Aylmer; and three grandchildren.
