Brunch to honor 15 who have lived at least 90 years

Weinberg Village will honor 15 members from throughout the local Jewish community who are age 90 and older, when it hosts its third Oldest Jewish Americans Brunch at the Cohn Jewish Community Campus on Sunday, June 10 at 11 a.m.

The event will include a brunch and entertainment by one of Tampa’s distinguished Barbershop Quartets, Song Daddy.

This year’s honorees are: Doris Baer, Donald Epstein, Nina Glazer, Frances Grunberger, Isaac Kaskinski, Mordekhai Kolpakchi, Zenaida Kolpakchi, Arthur Meier, Betty Olinsky, Harold Rosenthal, Thomas Schwartz, Betty Solomon, Herbert Thau, Rita Weissman and Bruce Zimmerman.

Ron Rudolph and Andi Parker, Weinberg Village board members, are serving as co-chairs for the brunch.

Tickets to attend the event are $18 in advance or $20 at the door. Checks can be made out to: Weinberg Village Assisted Living Residences. Checks and names of those attending can be mailed or dropped off at Weinberg Village Assisted Living Residences, 13005 Community Campus Drive, Tampa 33625.

The Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Village Assisted Living Residences provides care for seniors within the local community and hosting an event like this meets the organization’s mission.
