Chabad Chai South Tampa

Survival of a nation: A Rohr Jewish Learning Institute class about the Six-Day War in 1967 that expanded Israeli territory is under way at Chabad Chai. The first of six classes, taught by Rabbi Mendy Dubrowski, was held May 9 and the remaining classes will be held every Tuesday through June 13 from 7:30 to 9 p.m. The class is $50 and there is a $20 book fee. Topics of remaining classes include: Anti-Israel sentiment, preemptive strikes, civilian casualties, captured territories and land for peace. To sign up for the class, go to or call (813) 922-1723.
