Good Stuff!

Scout’s honor…

Noah Gray, 15, son of Daryl Gray and Beth Osiason of Tampa and a member of this year’s Confirmation class at Congregation Rodeph Sholom, has achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He is a member of Troop 22, Order Of The Arrow (BSA Honor Society), OA representative to his troop and the first of his peers to achieve this coveted honor. His Eagle project was the clearing, landscape design, replacement and replanting of the entranceway to Lithia Springs Regional Park. Noah has earned 30 diverse merit badges so far. He is also an honor student and member of the diving team at Robinson IB High School and an award winning competitive dancer throughout Florida. His Eagle Scout ceremony will take place at Jan Platt Library on Dec. 18 with family, friends, fellow leadership and scouts.

Sawyer Malcolm Glazer, son of Shanna and Bryan Glazer of Tampa, was born on Sept. 23. Grandparents Sue and Jon Rosenbluth of Largo, grandmother Linda Glazer of Palm Beach and great grandmother Dotty Feinberg of St. Petersburg are kvelling over Sawyer’s birth.

Stealing the show…

Maggie Gamson was chosen as the favorite actress for the 2015-2016 season of the Carrollwood Players Theaters. Maggie, 12, is a student at Hillel Academy in Tampa. She recently finished performing in more than 150 shows as the child lead in the production of Iceploration, a 39-minute ice show at Busch Gardens. The Nancy Awards were voted on by Maggie’s fellow actors and actresses. She was chosen for favorite actress based on her role in the production of The Diary of Anne Frank. Proud parents are Michael and Lorinda Gamson of Carrollwood.
