Good Stuff!

Mavel tov…

Rebecca Smith, an eighth grader who is an “A” student at Newsome High School, has gained admission to the American Hebrew Academy’s Honor Society. She did so through her involvement in extracurricular, volunteer and leadership activities. Proud parents Jim and Lisa Smith of Lithia have set a stellar example. As a family, they work together in the warehouse or distribution center for Feed America (Tampa Bay). Rebecca is in Girl Scouts, ROTC, student council member and is a cheerleader. The family belongs to Congregation Beth Shalom in Brandon where Rebecca volunteers as a Sunday school aide and is involved in the youth group.

The American Hebrew Academy is a college prep boarding school in Greensboro, NC. Honor society membership allows her to compete for scholarships to attend the academy.
