The Tampa Jewish Community Center invites the Tampa Bay community to “play ball” at its sixth annual Co-Ed Softball Tournament on Sunday, April 15 at Ed Radice Park in Tampa.

Last year, more than 200 people from the Bay area participated in the event.

Those wishing to participate can register as a single player and be assigned to a team, or groups can sign up as an entire team. Participants must be 18 and older.

Players can form teams with family members, friends or register as a team through their synagogue, sisterhood, brotherhood or book club. There must be a minimum of 10 people per team and the limit is 12 per team. Each team must have at least three female members.

Additional rules and details about the day will be posted on

On game day, April 15, games will be held from 12:30 to 5 p.m. If the games are rained out, they will be played on Sunday, May 6.

The cost is $35 for individuals or $395 to sign up an entire team. The fee includes a team shirt and snacks for the day. Register online at or call the Tampa JCC at (813) 264-9000. Deadline to register as a team or as an individual is Friday, March 30, and the deadline to submit entire team roster is Friday, April 5.
