Obituaries

DR. SAMUEL SHEP JANUS,

80, of Tampa, died Feb. 7. Born in New York, he moved to Tampa 10 years ago from New Jersey. He was a psychologist and a published author. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Cynthia; two sons, Jeffrey Janus of New York and Lazar Janus of Tampa; daughter, Beth Newfield of New York; sister, Ethel Fisher of New Jersey; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to Melech Hospice House in Temple Terrace. (Segal Funeral Home, Beth David Chapel)
