Free medicare information seminar Dec. 7 at the Tampa JCC

The Tampa JCC is hosting a free Medicare informational seminar, “Medicare Made Clear,” on Tuesday, Dec, 7 to inform eligible persons about how the federally administered Medicare works, the different plans or parts available, and how they fit into each individual’s current situation.

The seminar will be sponsored by United- Healthcare®, a health care carrier.

Over 43 million Americans are enrolled in the federal Medicare program. Additionally, Medicare offers choices about how you can receive your benefits.

This seminar is designed to introduce the choices that are available and to explain the differences to help take the guess work out of determining individual solutions.

Attendees will get answers to questions such as when they are eligible and what the benefits are of the original Medicare (Parts A and B), stand-alone Prescription Drug Plan (Part D) and the Medicare Advantage plans (Part C).

The seminar will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Maureen & Doug Cohn Jewish Community Campus, 13009 Community Campus Drive, Tampa.

Light refreshments will be provided.

This event is only for educational purposes and no plan-specific benefits or details will be shared, according to the JCC.

Contact Pam Cotner at 769-4748 for any questions.
